Hanwha Advanced Materials offers a broad range of xEV and ESS molded parts from materials for battery protection, lightweighting, and thermal management, including StrongLite GMT (glass mat reinforced thermoplastic) and SMC (sheet molding compound). These materials are structurally and thermally robust but also offer design flexibility. Hanwha Advanced Materials works with ESS system integrators, automotive OEMs, and Tier 1s to help improve total cost of ownership, reduce system weight, and enhance thermal stability via molded parts that comprise battery sub-systems. Hanwha Advanced Materials is a "child" of the Hanwha Group ("parent" company), based in Seoul, Korea. Hanwha Group is the parent of other "children," which are separate and distinct business units.
